Classic MANIAC BUTCHER Titles Re-Released Through NEGATIVE EXISTENCE

February 29, 2008

Negative Existence has officially re-released two MANIAC BUTCHER CDs, "Barbarians" and "Cerna Krev". "Barbarians" was originally released in 1995 and was the band's first full-length album. This LP established MANIAC BUTCHER's "no keyboards, no female vocals, only pure black metal storm" slogan, which defines the group's raw and aggressive sound. "Cerna Krev", MANIAC BUTCHER's fourth full-length album, was originally released in 1998. Expect nothing but fast, raw, brutal black metal with relentless blasting drums, chainsaw like guitar onslaught and a violent wave of harsh vocals.

For more information or to order the CDs for $10.00 / 7,00 euros each, go to this location.

MANIAC BUTCHER was one of the first black metal bands to emerge from the Czech Republic in the late 1980s. They quickly became known as the "Kings of Czech Black Metal" and had a huge influence in the central European black metal scene. They are known for their orthodox approach and devotion to black metal and their over the top live performances.

MANIAC BUTCHER's huge discography includes two demos, three split releases, three live albums, two "best-of" LPs, one DVD, one EP, and six full-length CDs.
